Derek is a Managing Director and is responsible for originating, structuring and managing investments for the opportunistic credit and direct lending strategies.
Prior to joining Manulife | Comvest Credit Partners (formerly Comvest Credit Partners), Derek was a Senior Vice President in the Principal Finance group of Macquarie Capital, where he focused on structured capital investing and special situations across a broad range of sectors.
Derek received an MSc in Decision Sciences and a BSc in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
